Tennis to provide guests with professional, personalized
tennis coaching by current and former ATP players.
Amilla Fushi is now offering top-class tailored
coaching, practice programs and fun events to inspire and challenge guests of all abilities to improve their stroke play in its exceptional
tennis facilities, which includes two palm-fringed, floodlit hard courts and a
clubhouse offering complimentary equipment to hire.
In addition to personalized private tuition and
tennis discovery sessions, LUX Tennis at Amilla Fushi offers a range of
training programs and challenges including "Challenge
The Pro", where guests can take on the pro in a
tie break to win a free session, a "Kids
Tennis Clinic", specially created for children under 12 years, "Train
Like a Pro" drills up against the ball
machine and a service speed-gun challenge.

From 26 November to 3
December 2017, world number four Alexander Sascha Zverev will
be returning to Amilla with his brother and fellow pro Mischa Zverev for an exhibition to demonstrate first-hand what
it takes to win a one off contest.
Sascha Zverev has
climbed to the ATP top four since visiting the island last year when he was
ranked number 20. He has accomplished an incredible season in 2017 with
five titles on the ATP Tour.
In May 2017, Zverev
entered the ATP top-10 for the first time after defeating Novak Djokovic in the
final of the 2017 Italian Open, thus winning his first Masters 1000 title. He
won a second consecutive Masters 1000 title when he defeated Roger Federer at
the 2017 Canada Masters, eventually reaching his career high ranking of world
number four.
Mischa currently ranked
in the top 30, achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 25 on 24
July 2017 and beat world No. 1 Andy Murray in four sets at the 2017 Australian
Open before losing in the quarterfinals to eventual champion Roger Federer. He
has also reached the round of 16 in the last US Open 2017.
Guests will also have a
chance to learn a thing or two from the brothers with a complimentary one hour
tennis clinic at Amillas sister resort Finolhu, just a short speedboat
ride away in Baa Atoll.
Furthermore, tennis fans visiting Amilla Fushi
from 4-11 January 2018, will
also have a unique opportunity to rally with former US Open Mens Singles
champion and World No. 1 Pat Rafter.
Rafter will be also playing a one-on-one with
the winner of Amillas festive tennis tournament for its guests as well as
playing an exhibition match against the resorts resident LUX Tennis Pro
The tennis courts at Amilla Fushi are available
for daily use and can be booked 24hrs in advance through the Katheeb
or the resident Tennis
Pro.
